The Frontier Regional FASD Training Center (Frontier RTC) is located at the University of Nevada, Reno's (UNR) Center for the Application of Substance Abuse Technologies (CASAT) in Reno, Nevada. The Frontier RTC service area includes seven frontier-designated states (Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming). The goals of the Frontier RTC include providing education and training activities that will increase both the social work and nursing workforce capacity for prevention, identification, and intervention of FASDs.
